I’ve said it a thousand times, I really do have the best clients a professional maternity photographer could possibly ask for.
Like minded people who are on the same page with what we are trying to do. Happy to trust in my suggestions and have fun along the way.
Sometimes things don’t go according to plan though, especially when venturing in to the great outdoors, and on the day I was due to meet this lovely couple and photograph this beautiful time in their lives the weather decided to change our plans.
We were disappointed when heavy skies rolled in an hour before their scheduled maternity session and showers left us making the decision to postpone.
I told this couple I would order sunshine for them 🙂 and thankfully, at our second scheduled date we received the most beautiful light for our session!
We chased the light, following it up a hill to get the very last blast of golden rays into the frame, Bub on board and all, this couple followed me and listened to my crazy ideas resulting in one gorgeous portfolio for them to treasure.
This location is only 15 minutes away from the studio, in the Macarthur area, close to Kirkham and Harrington Park. A new favourite location I was fortunate to find not too long ago.
I brought along one of my studio dresses sourced from Mii-Estil in Europe
It is a one size fits all multi wrap dress in a gorgeous neutral champagne colour that suits all skin tones.
This gorgeous Mum brought along her own dress also so we were able to do a wardrobe change to get a different look and feel.
As a maternity photographer I am happy if my clients are happy and changing outfits mid session can bring variety to the finished portfolio. Win/win!
What a gift they have to show their Bub one day when he or she is old enough to understand. I can’t wait to meet this Bub.
In the mean time, I am waiting to hear their news, I’m thinking its a girl 🙂
