The Calmbirth Experience – Newborn Photography Camden
WELCOME!! Today’s blog post is about a service provided to expecting parents to help educate them on how the best way to approach child birth may be, this service is called Calmbirth. I know I provide newborn photography Camden but I am passionate about helping my clients across the board in any way, and if I am aware of a service you may love I am keen to share with you all.
I’ve been working with Calmbirth Blue Mountains for about seven years now. Calmbirth Blue Mountains is run by Denise Round, I have supplied some images for her website and in her studio you will find my albums and a special offer for her clients. My newborn photography reaches further than Camden stretching out to areas such as the Lower Blue Mountains. I am grateful to have been found far and wide.
Calmbirth is about safe guarding your emotional and mental health before during and after birth. As women we are expected to know how to give birth, but for a first time mum you just have to trust your body you have to allow your body to do what it does because it knows what to do, and you haven’t experienced anything like this before. But things can easily escalate and fear can creep in naturally, it’s a natural response if you’re unsure of what’s happening, if you’re not sure why things are happening you could become worried, and you may panic. The Calmbirth philosophy is all about providing education, as they say, with knowledge comes power. And they couldn’t be more accurate.
Calmbirth is all about educating you on how the birth process may possibly unfold, what your options are and how you can approach birth. The only thing that you can control during the entire process is your attitude, so no matter how it unfolds your attitude towards the process will ultimately define whether this whole experience is a good one, or a bad one for you… and you want it to be a good one, even if you get rushed in for an emergency Caesarean at the last minute. That maybe your plans didn’t work out the way you wanted them to but you will be at peace, because you know that you trust in your body, you trust in the process and you trust in the health professionals to do what’s best for you and your baby.
Reducing medical intervention means that the chances of being able to be skin to skin with your baby immediately after birth is higher. Those precious moments when your brand new born his placed on your chest for the first time, they take their first breath, they had their first cry, and they have their first feed… these are all precious moments that you want to have and want to cherish and hold onto.
Calmbirth has close to 100 registered, birth educators throughout Australia and New Zealand and France. Calmbirth have been pioneers of childbirth education, improving the birth experience and changing the way we birth in Australia.
Calmbirth has been around since 2004 and he’s growing rapidly with results proven to reduce the chance of requiring medical intervention during childbirth, it has also proven to reduce the use of pain relief during child birth while improving the child birth experience and therefore reducing possibilities of negative emotions, postnatal depression and increasing the Mothers recovery time.
Denise runs her child birth education workshops out of her Blue Mountains studio which means you can go for a baby moon! Enjoy beautiful accommodation, enjoy beautiful meals, beautiful scenery and get some insight into what lies ahead for you.
Also just this year a Calmbirth studio has opened up in Camden run by Jessica. I’ve met Jessica and she is a wonderful and beautiful person and is really passionate about her message and the Calmbirth message.
