The core of what I do in my work as a Childrens Photographer is help show children their value, worth and their place in their family unit.
The Love Trust Project.
I developed The Love Trust Project in the hope of raising awareness for parents to see what family portraiture means to their children.
To our children, WE are their entire universe. We love photographs of our children, they are very cute, though our children love seeing photographs of themselves with us in them.
Children can struggle to convey their emotions with words though when they see the love and bond we share in print, it gives them an immeasurable gift. Family portraits can help us raise children with stronger confidence in their own worth and abilities.
Psychologists and experts have done some work in recent decades exploring the link.
As a Childrens Photographer I am excited to be part of this link and be able to provide the visuals that convey such an important message.
A study has revealed a significant increase of 37 percent in a child’s self-esteem behaviours when the child regularly sees their family portrait on the wall in their home, a family portrait of their whole family together as one.
I honestly can’t express the importance here, I struggle with the words to portray the value fully.
